The community nursing team for West Hart and Old Basing, is now based at Alton Community Hospital. A small office is maintained at Odiham Cottage Hospital.

Age Concern Hampshire’s toenail cutting service helps over-50s to stay active and remain mobile.

CANINE ASSISTED LEARNING

Complementary therapies can be used safely alongside medical and nursing treatments and help with relaxation, reduce anxiety and give a sense of physical and emotional well-being.

HOSPICE AT HOME

Odiham Cottage Hospital Charitable Trust is delighted to provided funding to St Michael’s Hospice, Basingstoke to ensure that their valued Hospice at Home Service is available 7 days a week to patients in the local community area.

BEFRIENDING

Social isolation and loneliness are significant factors affecting many people, particularly those with long term medical conditions. Our Befriending service seeks to provide friendship and support which ultimately leads to a greater sense of well-being.

SUNSHINE AND SHOWERS

Sunshine and Showers is the name given to local depression support groups designed for people with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety.

CATHERINE NICHOLAS – WOODLANDS COUNSELLING

Choosing a private counselling service enables you to access a highly professional counsellor when you need it most. I deal with a broad range of client issues and have particular experience in depression and anxiety, also abuse, trauma and difficult relationships.

121 YOUTH COUNSELLING

121 Youth Counselling is run by Hart Voluntary Action at OCH and provides free and confidential support to people age 11-25 living in Hart.

CITIZEN’S ADVICE HART

Citizens Advice Hart offers an outreach service at Odiham Cottage Hospital, Life Church Hook and Whitewater Surgery Hartley Wintney. Advice is available on a range of matters including benefits, work, debt, employment, housing and consumer affairs.

HOME START HAMPSHIRE

Homestart are now running a group on Wednesdays at Elizabeth Hall in Hook for families being supported by them.
