2010 - Hospital Centenary Year

Odiham Cottage Hospital is a twelve bedded hospital situated in the centre of the historic village of Odiham.

The hospital has 8 beds for which the General Practitioners of Odiham/Old Basing and Hook/Hartley Wintney surgeries have admitting rights. Patients are admitted from home or following a period at an acute unit, most often North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke or Frimley Park Hospital, for treatment and nursing care prior to discharge. The remaining four beds are for continuing care patients who have long term nursing needs. In addition there are outpatient physiotherapy clinics.

On 27th September 2010 the hospital will celebrate its centenary with a lunchtime celebration attended by Dame Mary Fagan, Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire. All are welcome and invitations are available from Ginny East at the hospital.
